Day 2 : Let’s journey to the next city ‘Bueng Kan’

Let’s check in Tham Phra Waterfall !!
.
Tham Phra Waterfall in Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary has three tiers. Tourists can play in the water on the first and second tiers of the waterfall. But the second one is more popular because there are plenty of waterways including shallow, deep and strong water. We can joyfully slide along with the waterfall. Besides, you can visit the waterfall all year, but around the period of the end of the rainy season and the beginning of the cool season is recommended because of lots of water.
.
How to reach Tham Phra Waterfall. We need to take a ferry to get there. There are two ferry landings there, and tickets are sold at the landing and cost around 30 Baht per person for a return ticket. The ferry will cruise down the Huai Bang Bat Canal for about 10 minutes. After that, you need to walk for 500 metres to reach the Waterfall.

Hin Sam Wan Cliff is in the Phu Sing Forest Park. It looks like 3 big whale rocks that look like the father, mother and calf of whales that are swimming in the green sea.

From here, we can see the view as far as the Mekong River and Pak Krading, Laos PDR.
.
Normally, only the father and mother cliff are allowed to visit since the ridge of the calf child cliff is dangerous.

Finally, we are going to finish our trip at the Life Community Museum located in So Phisai district.
.
The Life Community Museum was initiated by Mr. Khab Suthiphong Suriya, a famous food stylist in Thailand. Since he is an expert in art and design, he brought together contemporary art to create an Identity for the community. In addition, he provides advice on product design to enable the villagers to earn income from the sale of agricultural products. That will lead to being a sustainable tourist destination in the future.
.
The Museum was renovated from a 60-year-old, Thai-Isan style, wooden house. The Museum exhibits everyday life items of the Isan people. Furthermore, there is a space for selling products of the villagers in the community; such as, various shapes of bags, sticky rice baskets, clothes, etc. There is a stage for artists, designers and students from various institutions to exhibit their works as well.

If you have time, I suggest to see the paintings of Phaya Nak around the village. These paintings were created by the cooperation between the villagers and students of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Even if they have modernised them, they still show a sense of country ‘community’.
.
Most paintings of Phaya Nak relate to the occupation and preference of the house owner, such as Phaya Nak and Sundae ice cream, Phaya Nak making Somtam, Phaya Nak cutting hair, Phaya Nak and bicycles etc.

Before leaving, please do not forget to try ‘Palaeng’, I-san traditional food. I confirm that it’s exquisite with a world award of the ‘Local Table’ guaranteed by the Gourmand Awards of France.

It was so delicious that I unexpectedly said ‘Wowwwww’.
